How we check facts
Exam facts change, and a wrong fee or pass mark costs you money or time. This is what we do to keep the guides and questions accurate, and what we don't do.
Where the facts come from
- Exam facts (number of questions, time, pass mark, domains, eligibility, fees, renewal rules) come from the issuer's own pages and candidate handbooks: ACAMS for CAMS, ACFCS for CGSS, CCAS and CFCS, the ACFE for the CFE.
- Regulatory content comes from primary sources: the FATF Recommendations and guidance, OFAC and EU/UN/UK sanctions texts, US, EU and UK AML legislation, FinCEN and national guidance.
- Every practice question carries the source its answer rests on, shown under the explanation. If we can't point to a public source, the question doesn't go in.
How we keep it current
- Each certification has an edition and a review date, shown on the certification page and guides (for example "checked 2026-11").
- We check the issuers' announcements every month for exam changes, new editions, registration windows and fee changes, and update the guides. What changed is listed on News (issuer and rule changes) and Updates (changes to our question bank).
- When an issuer publishes a new edition, questions that were last reviewed for the old edition are flagged and re-checked.
What we are not
- We are an independent practice provider, not affiliated with ACAMS, ACFCS or the ACFE.
- Our questions are written independently from public standards. They are not recalled exam questions, and we don't sell or use "exam dumps".
- Practice scores are guidance, not a guarantee of passing. Always confirm fees, dates and rules on the issuer's website before you register.
