This policy explains what personal data Linguation LLC-FZ ("we") processes when you use AML Cert Prep.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
- Exam data: the questions you were shown, your answers and scores, so we can show results and history.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or PayPal. We receive your email, the amount and a payment reference, never your card number.
- Technical data: a first-party cookie that keeps your free diagnostic linked to your browser, and server logs (IP address, browser) kept for security.
- Analytics and advertising: only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads measure visits and conversions.
Why
To provide the service you bought (contract), to keep the service secure (legitimate interest), to meet tax and accounting duties (legal obligation) and, with your consent, to measure advertising.
Processors
Stripe and PayPal (payments), Cloudflare (content delivery and security), Amazon Web Services (hosting), Google (analytics and advertising, with consent) and our email delivery provider. Some are outside your country; they process data under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Retention
Account and exam data is kept while your account exists and deleted on request. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
